Study: Effect of Peter Hess® Sound Massage on Anxiety, Stress, and Activities of Daily Living in Parkinson's Patients (2018)

A Brazilian study, conducted by the Peter Hess® Academy Brazil, involved Parkinson's patients being treated at the Parkinson Carioca Association (APC) (cf. p. 68 ff.). The patients received PHKM treatment in a dedicated room from three sound massage practitioners specialized in the method. The sessions took place once a week from April to July
2018, totaling ten sessions, each lasting 45 minutes.

Study Results

  • Significant improvement in daily living skills
  • Reduction of stress and anxiety
