Every single product is developed and tested by our team and handcrafted in select workshops. As extensive as our product range has become, there is one thing they all have in common: attention to detail, functionality, and durability. And a deep understanding of how sound works.
How is a Hess Sound product created?
Many of the products you’ll find in the Hess Sound online shop today simply didn’t exist on the market in this form. They were created because there was a gap in the market: some ideas came from Peter Hess® Sound Massage, others from user feedback. Still others grew out of our own commitment to improvement: we believe we can do even better!

Choosing the right mallet or beater has a significant impact on the sound of your gong or Singing Bowl. Over the course of 35 years working with sound, we have experimented extensively—with materials, ergonomics, weight, and balance—until we’ve created a product that meets your needs and authentically brings out the character of your instrument.

2. Sound Bath Bowls
New to our product range are our Hess Sound Bath Bowls. These Singing Bowls specially designed for use in sound baths. They are available as a set with or without accessories, as well as individually. We also offer a matching set of felt coasters to go with them.

Our singing bowl cushions are the result of years of experience and provide your Singing Bowl with Singing Bowl support without dampening the sound too much. They allow your bowl to resonate freely and are durable and sturdy.
A variety of color palettes and new designs are created in close collaboration with our partners in India and Nepal. We work with long-standing manufacturers—under fair conditions, in workshops with which we share a bond of trust.

Our meditation cushions are sewn in India and Nepal and filled here on-site with organic buckwheat from Germany. We’ve even developed our own filling machine for this purpose. This ensures that the quality is just right, moisture levels are controlled, and your cushions remain durable.

7. Accessories for sound massage
Professional sound massage requires well-designed support for sound massage practitioners and therapists. Peter Hess is considered a pioneer of modern sound massage and, over 35 years ago, developed a method that is now used worldwide. At Hess Sound, we build on this experience and develop accessories designed specifically for practical use.
Storage systems
You can make things especially comfortable for patients with the Hess Sound positioning systems: From small positioning cushions to comprehensive positioning sets —every product has been developed by us and can be flexibly combined. Our Mini Positioning Set is particularly versatile.
Many of these products are made in the workshop of a long-standing partner—a friend of our singing bowl manufacturer. Here, too, fair working conditions and sustainable collaboration are our top priorities.
"Klangoase" Seat & Reclining Cushion
The Hess Sound Klangoase was created in response to requests from many sound practitioners. It offers greater freedom when working on the floor and allows clients to lie comfortably and relax.
Casters
Our Hess Sound foot rolls are sewn in India and Nepal and filled with organic buckwheat at our facility in Uenzen. We’ve even developed our own filling machine specifically for this step in the manufacturing process. This allows us to control moisture levels, prevent mold growth during transport, and guarantee organic quality.
