Peter Hess® Singing Bowls

We use only pure, high-quality metals and no metals from waste products or scrap. Our singing bowls have a high tin content, a particularly high-quality raw material that other manufacturers often reduce or replace with lead (solder) because tin is many times more expensive. Peter Hess® Therapy Singing Bowls are forged from a cast blank. Compared to efficient mass production, this means about 30 percent more work, but in return the singing bowl vibrates considerably longer and more evenly.

From 1,000 kg of high-quality bronze, about 320 kg of Peter Hess® quality singing bowls are made. Singing bowls that do not meet our standards are removed during the manufacturing process and melted down again. All singing bowls are intensively tested for their quality once again here in Germany and classified into quality levels. We ensure good working conditions on fair terms and check that no child labor takes place in our production facilities.

We work intensively with the singing bowls ourselves in sound massage and continuously optimize them. Findings from research and good development work also feed into production.

Depending on its size and the related frequency, a singing bowl can have a stronger or weaker effect on different areas of the body. Small singing bowls are the Head Bowl, Heart Bowl and Throat Bowl; large singing bowls are the Pelvic Bowl, Solar Plexus Bowl and Universal Bowl. In addition, there are Sangha Meditation Singing Bowls, Zen Singing Bowls and Special Singing Bowls. The quality levels are called Peter Hess® Therapy, Premium and Classic.
