Pilot Project: sound education with traumatized children – Ehnis (2014)

As part of an educational-therapeutic pilot project, sound education settings were specifically integrated into the work with young people in residential child and youth care. Five young people from challenging family backgrounds participated in approximately 14 individual sessions within the therapeutic setting. Additionally, both the young people themselves and their teachers and educators were interviewed about their experiences. The project was carried out starting in 2007 by Gabriele Ehnis, a psychotherapist trained in Peter Hess® sound education.
