As part of a bachelor’s thesis, the effects of so-called “primary trust sound massage” on the well-being of people in mourning were investigated. Eight people in mourning who had lost a loved one within the past four years received five primary trust sound massages. The study was conducted as an exploratory diary study using quantitative questionnaires and an accompanying qualitative sound diary to capture both measurable changes and subjective experiences. The study was conducted in 2019 by Beatrix Wehle at Steinbeis University Berlin.
