As part of a bachelor’s thesis, the effects of individual sound massages on body awareness and well-being in a stroke patient were investigated. Over a period of 10 months, the patient received a total of 34 sound massages on a weekly basis. Data was collected both quantitatively through questionnaires administered after each session and qualitatively through a sound diary kept by the patient. The study was conducted in 2021 by Sonja Marotzke at Steinbeis University Berlin.
