As part of a bachelor's thesis, the effect of individual sound massages on the body perception and well-being of a stroke patient was investigated. One patient received a total of 34 sound massages over a period of 10 months, on a weekly basis. Data was collected both quantitatively through questionnaires after each session and qualitatively through a sound diary kept by the patient. The study was conducted in 2021 by Sonja Marotzke at Steinbeis University Berlin.
