The Peter Hess® Therapy Singing Bowl – Large Pelvic Bowl offers deep tones that bring relaxation to the lower back and pelvic area. It is an important component of the Peter Hess® Sound Massage. The sound of the Large Pelvic Bowl can be varied by using different mallets. Its sound intensity is slightly stronger than that of the Small Pelvic Bowl.

The Large Pelvic Bowl vibrates and sounds more intensely than the Small Pelvic Bowl and is therefore preferred for professional use in sound work. The Small Pelvic Bowl is also used in professional sound work, primarily for sound massages for children, teenagers, and older individuals, or generally for people who prefer less weight on their body. The vibrations of the Peter Hess® Therapy Singing Bowl – Large Pelvic Bowl reach deep regions of the body and can effectively release tension and blockages.

Sound

The deep, long-lasting sound of the Large Pelvic Bowl is pleasant, calming, and relaxing. It creates an atmosphere of tranquility, arrival, and trust. The sound character can vary depending on the type of mallet used: A small, hard mallet will produce higher, more dominant overtones. A thicker, soft mallet creates deep, resonant tones that are not only audible but also palpable.

Peter Hess® Therapy Singing Bowls are available in Classic and Premium quality levels. If you plan to primarily use your Singing Bowl for professional sound work, we recommend the Premium version. If you mainly use it for self-care applications or private sound massages, the Classic version is also suitable. Learn more about the Peter Hess® quality levels.

Origin and Materials

Peter Hess® Therapy Singing Bowls are handmade in India according to ancient traditions, using only pure, high-quality metals. The complex manufacturing process involves many steps and rigorous quality controls in both India and Germany. This ensures that you ultimately receive a Therapy Singing Bowl of the highest quality.

Permanent coating

Our Peter Hess® Therapy Singing Bowls are also available with permanent tarnish protection. This ultra-thin protective film makes the surface even more resistant and preserves the shine of your singing bowl for longer. Factors such as high humidity, salt or chlorine in the water, disinfectants or close contact with the skin can occasionally lead to oxidation (and thus stains) on the singing bowl. People who work professionally with singing bowls in hospitals, nursing homes or in the wellness and spa sector particularly benefit from the permanent coating, as it makes the singing bowl particularly easy to care for.

Care Instructions

To maintain the shine of your Peter Hess® Therapy Singing Bowls, clean them regularly with a soft cloth, water, and a little dish soap. Alternatively, you can use our cleaning stone.
