Breathwork & Sound

Breathwork & Sound

What happens when we consciously connect our breath with sound?

Our breath is with us every moment—usually without us paying it much attention. The way we breathe can influence how we feel and what we perceive in our bodies.

During this free online sound evening, we’ll dive together into the world of breathwork and sound. We’ll explore fascinating connections related to our breathing, take a brief look at how it relates to the nervous system, and explore what makes the combination of breath and sound so special.

In addition to selected guiding prompts, the focus is primarily on your own experience. During a guided breathing meditation, accompanied by the sounds of the Singing Bowl, you can experience for yourself how breath and sound can connect. The point is not to achieve anything or reach a specific state. Rather, the evening invites you to pause, cultivate curiosity, and notice what emerges.

An evening just for you—as inspiration for your own sound practice at home or to provide new ideas for your work with sound.

Speaker: Kathrin Kreis – In Circles

Kathrin is interested in the question of what brings us back into deeper connection—with ourselves, our bodies, and one another. In her work, she creates spaces where whatever arises in the moment is welcome, and she invites people to explore with curiosity rather than feeling the need to achieve something. In doing so, she combines breathwork, sound, and meditation with insights from her own personal journey. Kathrin is a certified breathwork facilitator and meditation teacher, and she is deepening her work with sound through continuing education at the Peter Hess® Institute.

Her passion project, In Circles, was born out of a desire to create spaces that invite people to experience connection in a simple, personal way.
