The ollihess Gong Friction Mallet Smooth Lava Edition was developed for particularly fine sound work and measured tone development. Its delicately roughened surface made of natural rubber allows you to produce delicate, bright vibrations as well as calm, deep tones. Thanks to the special manufacturing process in Olli Hess's workshop, each friction mallet is unique and reacts precisely to the slightest movements and changes in pressure.

The particularly finely roughened surface allows for very controlled, even tone production – ideal for mindful sound playing without squeaking or abrasion.
