Always store your felt mallets in a dry place, protected from direct sunlight. If the felt ball gets dirty, dampen a sponge or a soft cloth with a little water and gently rub the affected area. Avoid rubbing too vigorously back and forth. Since the felt ball is particularly delicate when wet, hang the mallet to dry afterwards.
