Every ollihess Professional Gong Mallet and friction mallet is carefully handcrafted in small family businesses in Germany. Only sustainable, regional, and animal-free materials are used. ollihess stands for a conscious, mindful chime with responsibility for people and nature.
You should only clean mallets with fleece or plush covers when it's absolutely necessary, as water can affect the material's insulating layer and cause it to harden. To clean, dampen a cloth or sponge and gently wipe the fleece or plush with circular movements. Afterward, let the mallet dry thoroughly, preferably in the air – for example, on a windowsill or in the sun. However, absolutely avoid using a hot hairdryer. This will help your mallet stay soft, maintain its shape, and produce beautiful sounds for a long time.
