The ollihess Profi Gong Mallet M305 is a lightweight all-round mallet. It was specially developed for rhythmic, controlled gong playing and surprises with its springy effect. Its short handle allows for maximum control, quick changes of direction, and sustained rolls – ideal for dynamic passages and precise accents. Thanks to its special design, the M305 can also be played excellently as a pair.

The M305 combines precise control with plenty of energy: its short handle reduces leverage, while the large head creates rich, deep vibrations.

Every ollihess Professional Gong Mallet and friction mallet is carefully handcrafted in small family businesses in Germany. Only sustainable, regional, and animal-free materials are used. ollihess stands for a conscious, mindful chime with responsibility for people and nature.

Care instructions

You should only clean mallets with fleece or plush covers when absolutely necessary, as water affects the insulating layer of the material and can cause it to harden. To clean, dampen a cloth or sponge and gently clean the fleece or plush using circular motions. Then allow the mallet to dry thoroughly. It is best to air dry it – for example, on a windowsill or in the sun. However, be sure to avoid using a hot hair dryer. This will keep your mallet soft, dimensionally stable, and resonant for a long time.
