What are Peter Hess® Special Singing Bowls?

Peter Hess® Special Singing Bowls were developed for special requirements in therapeutic sound work. There are two designs: Special Singing Bowls with a screw-on handle and eyelet, and Bolo Special Singing Bowls with a circular opening in the center. Thanks to their special design, they open up a wide range of uses in sound work, in care and in professional bodywork.

What can the Special Singing Bowl with handle and eyelet do?

It expands on the classic Universal Bowl: a handle, screwed on inside or outside, or a hanging eyelet. With the handle, you can position the singing bowl securely even on uneven areas of the body, which is also suitable for self-application. The eyelet allows you to hang the singing bowl securely, which creates new forms of application. The delivery includes a Special Singing Bowl with handle and eyelet. The sound corresponds to that of the Peter Hess® Universal Bowl: warm, full and multilayered. Handle and eyelet are also available individually as accessories, so you can fully equip your singing bowl again at any time.

What does Bolo mean?

Bolo stands for Bodenloch (German for “hole in the bottom”), the circular opening in the center of the singing bowl. This allows the singing bowl to be placed stably on uneven areas of the body such as the knee, elbow, shoulder, pelvis or heel. Unlike with classic singing bowls, the vibrations do not spread from the inside outward but are centered toward the opening.
