Sound relaxation for the abdomen
The abdomen is a particularly sensitive area of the body that can react to stressful situations with digestive problems, abdominal or stomach pain. The sounds here can be a wonderful way to set a gentle relaxation offer. This is especially true for menstrual cramps.
Exercise for the solar plexus
- Lie loosely on your back and make yourself as comfortable as possible.
- Position the singing bowl on the so-called “solar plexus”. This is the area located approximately halfway between the costal arch and the pubic hairline, also known as the “solar plexus” in Autogenic Training.
- Make sure that your head and the arm with which you want to strike the singing bowl are well supported, so that there is no unnecessary effort.
- Now gently tint the singing bowl from the outside at the upper edge.
- If you like, close your eyes and focus your attention entirely on your solar plexus. Notice how the sounds massage this area and gradually from there spreads pleasant relaxation.
- Take a deep breath and repeat several times.
- After that, put the singing bowl aside and feel. Close your eyes again and feel inside. Everything you perceive may be and is okay.
- For a few more moments, enjoy the blissful relaxation that has spread throughout your abdomen.
- Take a few deep breaths before stretching, opening your eyes and getting back into the swing of things.
