The ollihess Professional Gong Mallet L815 is the most powerful mallet in the ollihess range. It was designed to produce rich depths and full volume on large gongs. Despite its size, it feels comfortably light and balanced in the hand, making it ideal for effortlessly setting a large gong into gentle or monumental vibration.

The L815 is ollihess's largest and heaviest mallet, designed to fully utilize the powerful sound volume of very large gongs, yet it remains light in the hand.

With the super-soft natural caoutchouc head of the L815, you create deep to very deep sounds that resonate warmly and produce earthy tones from your gong. Thanks to the soft wellness fleece, striking noises are almost completely eliminated. This allows you to conjure up impressive depths and create a supportive sound space even on extremely large gongs from 90 cm to 2 m.

Origin and Materials

Every ollihess Professional Gong Mallet and friction mallet is carefully handcrafted in small family businesses in Germany. Only sustainable, regional, and animal-free materials are used. ollihess stands for a conscious, mindful chime with responsibility for people and nature.

Care instructions

You should only clean mallets with fleece or plush covers when it's absolutely necessary, as water can affect the material's insulating layer and cause it to harden. To clean, dampen a cloth or sponge and gently wipe the fleece or plush with circular movements. Afterward, let the mallet dry thoroughly, preferably in the air – for example, on a windowsill or in the sun. However, absolutely avoid using a hot hairdryer. This will help your mallet stay soft, maintain its shape, and produce beautiful sounds for a long time.
