Thank you for shopping with Hess Sound. This policy explains how we ship your order, what it costs, and what to expect after you buy.
Order Processing
Except as otherwise stated on our website, orders are processed within 1 business day (excluding holidays).
Orders placed after noon or on weekends and holidays may begin processing the next business day.
You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order ships, if the shipping method supports it.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
Available shipping methods and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and begin once your order ships. They may be affected by carrier delays, weather, or other events outside our control.
Shipping costs
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on your destination, order weight, and selected shipping method. Free standard shipping may be available on selected orders as displayed at checkout.
Canada customs, taxes and other applicable fees
Orders shipped to Canada may be subject to GST, HST, PST, QST, RST, customs duties, import taxes, and carrier brokerage or handling fees. If taxes and import charges are calculated at checkout, they will not be due at delivery. If these charges are not collected at checkout, they may be due before or at delivery and are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated.
United Kingdom customs, taxes and other applicable fees
For orders shipped to the United Kingdom, taxes, duties, and import fees may apply. Where available, these charges will be calculated and collected at checkout. If taxes or duties are collected at checkout, they will be shown before you place your order. If these charges are not collected at checkout, they may be due before or at delivery and are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated.
In some cases, additional import charges, customs duties, VAT, brokerage fees, or carrier handling fees may be due when your order arrives in the United Kingdom. These charges are determined by UK customs authorities and/or the carrier and are the customer’s responsibility unless we expressly state at checkout that duties and taxes are prepaid.
Customs processing may also affect delivery times. We recommend checking your local import rules before placing an order.
European Union customs, taxes and other applicable fees
Orders shipped to countries in the European Union may be subject to VAT, customs duties, import taxes, and carrier brokerage or handling fees. Where available, applicable taxes, duties, and import fees will be calculated and shown at checkout before you place your order. If these charges are not collected at checkout, they may be due before or at delivery and are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated.
If checkout states that duties and taxes are prepaid, your order will be shipped with those charges prepaid and you should not be asked to pay additional import charges at delivery. If checkout does not state that duties and taxes are prepaid, you may be required to pay VAT, customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or carrier handling fees before or at delivery.
Import charges are determined by EU customs authorities and/or the carrier and may vary based on the destination country, product classification, product value, country of origin, and shipping method. Customs processing may also affect delivery times.

Starter set for meditation, sound journeys and professional sound work
The Feng Gong Starter Set combines a versatile Feng Gong (Ø 45 cm, Classic quality) with the matching Hess Sound Gong Handle and the ollihess x Hess Sound Mallet Two into a harmoniously matched set for sound work, meditation and sound journeys. The rimless Feng Gong made of polished bronze unfolds a lively, far-carrying sound field even when struck gently. With the ergonomic Gong Handle and the Mallet Two, the gong can be held comfortably, moved flexibly and played with a wide variety of sounds.
Sound and vibration
The sound of the Feng Gong is open, radiant and lively. When struck gently, it has a clarifying and balancing effect; when played more forcefully, an intense, vibrating wave of sound builds up and spreads evenly throughout the room.
The ollihess x Hess Sound Mallet Two complements this sound with a warm, balanced character. It produces medium, soft tones and allows both gentle sound impulses and powerful gong sounds. Thanks to the balanced ratio of weight, handling and range of sound, the mallet sits comfortably in your hand and is also suitable for longer sound sessions.
Areas of use and benefits
In the Peter Hess® Sound Methods, the Feng Gong is used, among other things, to release blockages in the body and in the aura, to harmonize and strengthen the spine and to promote circulation. It supports the cleansing and energizing of rooms, creates a safe sound space and is suitable for sound journeys and imagery journeys, meditations, concerts and therapeutic applications.
The Hess Sound Gong Handle further extends the possibilities: the ergonomic beech wood handle sits comfortably in your hand and lets you hold, turn or swing the gong securely. This creates flowing sound movements and new sound effects, while both hands can work freely and with control.
