Peter Hess® Singing Bowls
What began in 1984 with a journey to Nepal developed into a unique combination of traditional craftsmanship, decades of experience and the special power of sound. Discover the story behind Peter Hess® Singing Bowls.
A journey that changed everything.
In 1984, during a research trip to Nepal, Peter Hess discovered the fascinating world of singing bowls. Inspired by their sounds and vibrations, he developed the Peter Hess® Sound Massage, which is used worldwide today.
To meet his high standards of sound and quality, he began developing his own singing bowls in 1989. In doing so, he laid the foundation for Peter Hess® Singing Bowls as we know them today.
Peter Hess's personal path to sound
Traditional production
Each singing bowl is hand-forged from a high-quality bronze alloy with thousands of hammer blows and tuned for its sound.
Cleaning & polishing
The singing bowl is then carefully cleaned, refinished and polished until it acquires its characteristic surface.
Careful quality testing
Each singing bowl is tested several times, finally by our sound specialists in Germany, who assess its sound and vibration behavior and determine its quality level.
Developed for the highest standards.
Peter Hess® Therapy Singing Bowls were developed specifically for sound massage. Traditional forging creates their characteristic long-lasting sounds and even vibrations.
Only singing bowls that pass our strict quality controls receive the Peter Hess® Therapy quality seal. To this end, every singing bowl is carefully tested once again in Germany.
