From June 3rd to 10th, we at Hess Sound had the exciting opportunity to open our first pop-up store in Berlin. Auguststrasse in Berlin Mitte became a place of sounds and encounters for a week. People from all over Berlin as well as from the immediate neighborhood had the opportunity to come by and get to know our fascinating Peter Hess® Singing Bowls.
For our team, this project was a unique undertaking. We worked hard to create an inviting and inspiring atmosphere where visitors could explore the world of Singing Bowls. We were delighted that both Singing Bowl enthusiasts who were already familiar with our products and people who came into contact with Singing Bowls for the first time found their way to us.
Great interest in sound workshops
In the pop-up store, visitors had the opportunity to try out our Singing Bowls and learn about the differences between them. It was wonderful to watch them be enchanted by the gentle vibrations and soothing sounds of the Singing Bowls. Our evening sound workshops were also met with great interest and the participants were able to experience how versatile Singing Bowls can be used in various contexts. At this point we would like to express a special thank you to the Peter Hess® Institute Regional Group Berlin/Brandenburg, who supported us with the workshops.
While Hess Sound owner Jana Hess presented sound elements in beauty and wellness, Barbara Senf showed how Singing Bowls can be used practically in everyday life. Janina Picard gave an exciting Breath & Sound Workshop in English. Eva-Maria Hähnel and Anita Böttcher demonstrated how beginners can get started with sound. Ramona Bannert covered the topic of imagery journeys with sound, and Janine Gabelmann introduced the world of sound yoga. Finally, Norbert Kasprowski demonstrated how Singing Bowls can be used in the area of self-care.
"This week was a special experience for me and our team," says Jana Hess. "It was great to get in touch with people from Berlin and hear about their experiences with Singing Bowls so far. We learned a lot from it and are already looking forward to our next pop-up store!"
Sound at INNOCOS Berlin
In parallel with our pop-up store, the INNOCOS Berlin took place. There, Hess Sound, under the direction of Janine Gabelmann, also gave a workshop on the topic of sound yoga, which was very well received. The beauty trade fair offered an additional platform to share the fascination and enthusiasm that people feel regarding Singing Bowls and the application of sound.

Overall, our pop-up store in Berlin was a complete success. We are grateful for the opportunity to reach so many people with our Singing Bowls. The encounters and conversations have inspired and encouraged us to continue offering high-quality sound instruments and to spread the positive effects of sound throughout the world.
