From the first sound to inner certainty: this is my path

In 2019, sound entered my life in a very special way. The trigger was a rheumatic disease that was accompanied by several consecutive inflammations of the eye. The fear of losing my eyesight suddenly became omnipresent. Since I was already almost blind in my left eye and the inflammation now mainly affected my right eye, my thoughts revolved around the worst. In particular, the idea of not being able to see my two children—now seven and ten years old—grow up was almost unbearable.

During this challenging time, sound came into my life like a quiet but powerful companion. My mother told her physiotherapist, who was Peter Hess® Sound Massage in Peter Hess® Sound Massage , about my situation. She offered to visit me at home and give me a sound massage. The very first sound of Singing Bowl something deep inside me that is hard to put into words. At that moment, I knew: I want to carry these sounds forward.

After just a few sound massages, accompanied by very healing conversations, I developed a deep trust in myself and my body. A firm inner belief arose: my eyesight will remain intact. To date, I have had no further flare-ups of inflammation. I trust that this balance will continue to accompany me. During this time, I have experienced how profound and moving sounds can be and how intense the encounter with oneself is in sound.

The real key moment was that first note from the Singing Bowl. Something inside me immediately resonated, and it felt as if a door had opened, both internally and externally, to a new, clear perspective. Even though my journey to this point had not always been easy and had had many rocky sections, every single step had been the right one.

For me, sound on a mental and spiritual level means one thing above all else: finding peace, arriving at my true self, feeling light on my path, and experiencing healing.

My sound work – for adults and children

Today, I live out my passion for sound in various areas. In my own premises, I offer Peter Hess® sound massages and sound evenings with guided imagery. These offerings invite you to consciously step out of everyday life, find peace, and experience the beneficial effects of sound on your body, mind, and soul.

In addition, I provide sound massages to employees at the Dietrich Bonhoeffer Clinic in Neubrandenburg. In my work environment there, these sound sessions serve as small islands of relaxation in the often demanding daily routine of the clinic.

A project that is particularly close to my heart is my work in child and youth welfare at the Prince's Castle in Quadenschönfeld. Every two weeks, on two afternoons, I accompany children in individual settings with gentle sound massages, guided imagery, sound-supported conversations, and playful discovery of instruments. The children learn to calm down, strengthen their body awareness, and develop self-confidence.

Peter Hess® Therapy Singing Bowls are primarily used, supplemented by gongs, Zen andSinging Bowls tongue drums, Zaphir and Koshi chimes. The diversity of these instruments enables both deep relaxation and curious, playful exploration of sound and vibration.

My sound space – a place to arrive

I design my sound room with great care and attention to detail. Depending on the season, it is heated or ventilated, prepared with appropriate lighting, selected scents, and comfortable storage materials. Small touches such as tea, water, or seasonal treats are also part of the experience for me: fresh fruit in summer, nuts or Christmas cookies in winter.

My guests are welcome to arrive at their own pace. Depending on their experience, I invite them to first step into the foot bowl or make themselves comfortable right away. A short preliminary discussion provides an opportunity to share wishes or concerns and gives an overview of the session. It is particularly important to me that my guests feel comfortable and safe at all times: nothing has to be endured, positions can be changed at any time, and I pay close attention to comfort and needs.

The sound session itself begins with a gentle introduction to relaxation. Throughout the entire session, I attentively accompany my guests and carefully adjust their positioning or the sequence of events as needed. After the sound massage or sound journey, there is a phase of reflection before I gently guide them back to the here and now, usually with delicate chimes. Everyone is allowed to arrive at their own pace. The subsequent exchange is a valuable conclusion for me, because every encounter with sound is also enriching for me.

Who visits my sound rooms

People in very different life situations come to me. Often, it is psychological stress that opens the way to sound. I also accompany people with autism, tinnitus, sleep disorders, migraines, musculoskeletal complaints, or other physical and mental challenges. Guests who want to strengthen and maintain their well-being are also welcome.

In child and youth welfare, I encounter children who have had some difficult experiences. In Klang, however, they can experience lightness, curiosity, and joy, and find moments of deep peace.

It is particularly important to me to perceive each person in their individuality and to give them exactly the space they need. We arrive together in sound and leave this space together, carried by a feeling of togetherness and well-being.

Feedback and touching experiences

The feedback from my sound guests is consistently appreciative and heartfelt. Many report on the special atmosphere of my sound room, which allows them to step out of everyday life for a moment. Some find relaxation immediately, while others develop this ability step by step. Particularly intense experiences often arise in combination with Reiki.

I am constantly moved by the changes that sound can bring about. Whether it is emotional blockages being released or physical relief, every experience shows me anew the depth and power of sound. I myself am also repeatedly moved emotionally by this.

My own journey with sound—from the first note of Singing Bowl my training Singing Bowl up to the present day—has had a profound personal and spiritual impact on me. These experiences enable me to accompany people even more mindfully with sound.

Singing Bowls The Heart of My Work

Singing Bowls at the heart of all my services. They create a safe space in which personal development, encounters, and tranquility are possible. For bodywork, I exclusively use Peter Hess® Therapy Singing Bowls, as they meet the highest quality standards in terms of sound, vibration, and workmanship. I also exclusively use these instruments for meditation and guided imagery.

Outlook and inspiration

I look forward to upcoming training courses and inspiring encounters. Over the past year, my journey with sound has continued to grow. Having completed the workshop leader training course, I am now qualified to offer the PHI workshop "Relaxing with Singing Bowlsin my region and gently invite people into the healing world of sound.

The internship in the seminar "Designing individual sound massages easily, skillfully, and confidently" was another milestone on my journey. It has opened up the opportunity for me to give training sound massages in my region, supported by experience, care, and a deep connection to sound.

Other projects close to my heart include training as a KliK® expert (sound communication with children) and further training in the field of sound in dementia. My wish is to further establish sound in my region and to accompany people in a wide variety of life situations.

My message to everyone interested in sound: Sound touches, connects, and opens up spaces where you can simply be, with everything that is. My own encounter with sound has enriched my life in a lasting way. Based on this experience, I invite you to rediscover sound and consciously experience its power.
